If you are sensitive to smoke, the Jubilee Casino probably isn’t right for you, as you won’t find a spot where there isn’t smoke. To find uncharted flavors, never before seen on land, we had to dive deep. Far below the waves we met a mermaid who swims the depths of the oceans to find the long-lost treasures of ancient civilizations.
Carry-on drinks policy
Casual venues that serve a la carte menu items include Bonsai Sushi, Seafood Shack located next to the Street Eats stations on the Lido deck (get the lobster roll!), and Emeril’s Bistro 717 serving creole-inspired dishes. There’s also the JavaBlue Café offering specialty coffees and milkshakes alongside a case of yummy treats (some of which are free!). Guests can have lunch in the venue as many times as they want throughout the cruise for no charge. Havana is a Latin-inspired part of the ship on deck 8 that includes a bar, sundeck, and staterooms. There are 98 Havana staterooms on Carnival Jubilee, including interior, cabana (similar to a balcony), extended cabana, cabana suites, and cabana corner suites. The spa's thermal suite, which you can access for a fee or with the purchase of a spa treatment, includes saunas, heated tile loungers and a whirlpool.

I ordered the turkey sandwich and Don ordered an Italian sausage sandwich on a pretzel roll. Afterwards, we attempted to catch the last quarter of the tailgate in Summer Landing, but it had seemingly ended as there was just some live music when we arrived. There were some inconsistencies between the Fun Times paper daily and the HUB app, so we’d suggest checking both if there’s an activity that you can’t miss.

Currents (think replacement for The Gateway on Celebration) uses technology to create an “underwater” experience for guests. This zone features two new bars, Dr. Inks Ph.D and The Golden Mermaid, both with specialty cocktail menus that you won’t want to miss. While The Shores (think replacement for 820 Biscayne on Celebration) invokes seaside boardwalk vibes and features a grand 3-story art installation. Carnival Jubilee is a family ship, and as such, kids are found nearly everywhere, though kids clubs are located on decks 4 and 17. The ship also is vibrant, and finding a spot for a little peace and quiet is difficult, though the adults-only Serenity outdoor deck as well as the Summer Landing, on Deck 8, are lesser-trafficked areas. Where we struggle with Carnival Jubilee is the volume of passengers in any given space pretty much 24/7.

Dislikes for me include a shower door that opens toward you instead of into the shower, making the already tiny bathroom even tighter. I also didn't like the "SNOOZIN'" door hangers, which often got caught in my door when I closed it; I would've rathered a "do not disturb" button like many other new ships have. It was a bit too dry for me, so I didn't care for the taste; however, you won't want to miss the presentation, which involves a giant bubble atop the drink. Over 70% of all staterooms are outside, 300 pairs are connecting/family cabins. Like the sisterships Mardi Gras and Celebration, Jubilee has the industry's first-at-sea roller coaster. The facility ("BOLT Ultimate Sea Coaster") will be built by Maurer Rides (Munich Germany-based company) specializing in roller coaster design and manufacturing. The race track has length 244 m (800 ft), with twists, turns, drops and speeds up to 64 kph (40 mph). Carnival's roller coaster is all-electric and allows 2 riders to race along in motorbike-like vehicles at height 57 m (187 ft) above the sea. The experience features breathtaking top-deck 360-degree views and ends with a high-speed turn around the funnel/smokestack.
Each meal at Bonsai Teppanyaki starts with a sampling of 5 appetizers (Miso Soup, Pork Belly Yakitori, Spicy Tuna on Rocks). Each meal ends with the specialty desserts "Chocolate Bento Box" and "Green Tea Ice Cream". The restaurant is open for lunch (seadays only) and for dinner (every night of the voyage).

If you're feeling more like a cocktail, you can grab one of those, too. On my sailing, the bartenders were phenomenal and even remembered that I prefer non-dairy milk with my lattes.
